The Challenge
Prospects ask whether we can take a photo to a rigged character, wire a motion library, and ship it as a cinematic web hero — not a reel. We needed a live, self-serve proof: haunted-forest atmosphere, drag-to-look / scroll-to-zoom stage, and enough motions that the character feels directed, not stuck.
The Approach
Source photo through Meshy/Tripo for a Scooby-mask 3D character, then rig and embed eleven motions. Built a custom Three.js homepage: drag look, scroll zoom, auto-roam, soundtrack, and an original haunted-forest environment. The old /ScoobyCharacter/ path is retired; the live demo sits at the domain root.
The Result
The demo is live at character.sixgatesmedia.com — root path, Three.js intact, eleven embedded motions, auto-roam and soundtrack. This preview page is staged for Rodney’s “is this the one?” review before any Featured Case Study cutover on main Work.
